Dr David B. Stevens MBE

DBS is Medical Director for the International TT Races and the Manx Grand Prix and Chief Medical Officer for the International Southern 100 motorcycle races. The CMO for the TT and MGP is Dr Heike Romer from Liverpool.

DBS is the Medical Advisor to the ACU [Auto Cycle Union] and co-chairman of the Medical Panel and British Medical delegate to the International Medical Panel of the FIM [Federation Internationale de Motocyclisme].

He is the Secretary and a Director of the Rob Vine Fund, Registered Charity No 954 [ Isle of Man ]  and secretary and coordinator for the Hogg Motorsport Association.

He was awarded the MBE in the 2003 Queen's Birthday Honours for "Services to Motor Sport Medicine in the Isle of Man".

He retired as an NHS Consultant at Noble Hospital March 2005 but continues his involvement in the provision of motorsport medical services.
